The baby will be Alex’s second child, as the presenter also has a 14-year-old son Cruz from his previous marriage to Natalia Natkaniec. Imogen and Alex met in August 2020, despite her being blissfully unaware of his TV career because she chose not to look him up online before they met.

A mutual friend set the pair up on a blind date and the rest was history as they got engaged on New Year’s Day, two years later. Alex popped the question on a beach in Deia, Mallorca and in September 2022, they travelled back to Mallorca to get married on a romantic clifftop temple at the stunning Son Marroig estate.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine about the proposal, Alex said: “I took Imogen for a walk along the beach. The weather was sunny and warm, and the sea was crystal clear.

“‘This is it,’ I thought. Imogen’s not one for taking photos, but as I persuaded her to pose for a picture overlooking the sea, I kneeled down to take the engagement ring I’d hidden inside my rucksack.

“When she turned around, I was on one knee, and asked her the biggest question of my life – and she said yes. It was an amazing moment.”
