A married mum-of-four dubbed ‘Britain’s most hated woman’ has called on the “instant release” of the notorious Menendez brothers – saying they are “gorgeous”.
Erik and Lyle Menendez remain in prison after killing their parents Jose and Kitty in 1989. The chilling case has been dramatised in the recently released Netflix series Monsters.
Carla Bellucci – known as ‘Britain’s most hated woman’ – binged watched the nine episodes in three days and has strong opinions about the siblings.

She is convinced their childhood sexual abuse, allegedly at the hands of their father, played a significant role in their brutal actions.
And giving her take, the former glamour model, from Hitchin, Herts, told the Daily Star: “They should be released instantly. I believe they were abused and the American justice system is insane. If I wasn’t married, I would happily have married one of them.
“They were gorgeous boys and it is such a shame how they have been misjudged – they should be able to walk freely and enjoy their life.
“They did the right thing and if there would have been two females standing up there they would have been out in 10 years. It is disgusting how they have been treated.”

Carla, 42, added: “The Netflix show was brilliant and I loved everything about them and I’m obsessed with the two of them and the case. It is all I can think about. The actors were brilliant and I have definitely fallen in love with the Menendez brothers.”
Lyle was 21 and Erik was 18 when they repeatedly shot their parents to death before they were convicted in 1996 of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They were sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
Their legal team argued that they suffered sexual abuse at the hands of their wealthy father who was the CEO of LIVE Entertainment.
The prosecution meanwhile claimed that the murders were committed so the brothers would inherit Jose’s €14.5million fortune.

In April 2018, the brothers, who are now in their 50s, were reunited behind bars for the first time in more than 20 years.
A report in ABC News said: “They just hugged each other for a few minutes without saying any words to each other. Then the prison officials let them spend an hour together in a room.”
