Amanda Holden was left drenched and forced to strip off after getting caught in a torrential downpour during her charity bike ride from Cornwall to London.
The 53-year-old presenter, who is cycling 250 miles to raise funds for Global’s Make Some Noise charity, has been battling against the elements, with temperatures barely reaching double figures and relentless rain.
Despite the challenging conditions, Amanda is determined to complete her challenge and has even joked that the bad weather might encourage people to donate more to her cause.

In an Instagram post, she shared a video of herself pedalling through the rain, captioning it: “It’s coming down in stair rods … please dig deep for @globals_make_some_noise!” ]After a particularly gruelling stint, Amanda found relief by wrapping herself in a warm towel after peeling off her soaked clothes.
Speaking to The Sun, she revealed: “My thumbs are aching, it’s really weird. I’m currently sitting here naked with nothing but a towel around me because the weather is just horrific. Monday was the worst for the hills, but now it’s the weather. My wet gear is on a radiator drying in this gorgeous hotel called The Chapel. I had an egg bake for breakfast and two hash browns and I’ve just had some butternut squash soup before I go back out.”

Amanda previously discussed her charitable endeavour, saying: “I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I’ll be cycling over 250 miles from my mum’s house in Cornwall to London for Global’s Make Some Noise it’s a huge undertaking! I’ve been warned that the route won’t be particularly flat, so I’m expecting to have rock-solid buns by the end of this! The thought of raising funds for local projects that provide a lifeline to those in need will keep me going.”

Recently, singer Perrie Edwards wished Amanda well on her journey by gifting her some survival essentials during an appearance on her Heart Breakfast Show. The former Little Mix star presented Amanda with a hamper of treats, saying: “I think you’ll be excited about this…it’s bum butter. Nobody wants a sore saddle… And there’s a ‘Happy Bottom’ mini because you can never have too many happy bums.”
Amanda was left speechless as Perrie continued: “And some, which I think is arguably even more important than the bum butter, I’ve got you some nipple covers because there’s nothing worse, do you know what I mean? ” Amanda asked, sounding stunned: “Are they waterproof? Premium nipple covers! Look at those! That is a very large nipple cover! ” Perrie insisted: “Premium! Only the best for you Amanda.”
