Liam Payne’s ex Maya Henry has reportedly called in lawyers following their split.
The One Direction star and the model broke up in 2022 after dating on and off for three years. Maya has since claimed that the singer has repeatedly tried to contact her.
And now The Sun has quoted her rep as saying: “Maya Henry issued a cease and desist last week to Liam Payne following the emergence of new and concerning information. She has retained attorneys Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna to represent her. At this time, that is her only comment on the matter.”

There was no further detail on why the star has retained lawyers.
Maya previously made some claims in a TikTok, saying: “Ever since we broke up he messages me, will blow up my phone. Mind you, not only from his phone number. He, it’s always from different phone numbers too, so I never know where it is going to come from.

“He will create new iCloud accounts to iMessage me. It’s always a damn new iCloud account. I’m like, every time I see one pop up on my phone I’m like, ‘Here we f****** go again’.
“Also will email me,” she went on. Maya also claimed in the clip that Liam would “blow up my mum’s phone” and that he messaged her friends.

Liam, 31, and Maya, 23, were first linked in 2018 before stepping out together in 2019. They were together on and off for three years and at one point in their romance, they were engaged.
They ended up isolating together a lot during the coronavirus pandemic and Liam later told People magazine that it strengthened his relationship with Texas-born Maya. “I think we went through a lot in Covid,” he said in March 2022. “I feel like we’ve come out the other side of it a bit stronger.”

However, the Strip That Down singer – who shares a seven-year-old son named Bear with his former flame Cheryl – is now in a new relationship with influencer Kate Cassidy. The pair made their red carpet debut together in December 2022, when they attended the British Fashion Awards together in London.
