Photos from the hotel Liam Payne was staying in at the time of his death match leaked photos allegedly taken from his room before he died.
The One Direction singer died at the age of 31 after falling from a balcony of the Hotel CasaSur in Palermo, Argentina on October 16. Soon, photos appeared on social media allegedly taken from inside his room.
They showed what appeared to be drug paraphernalia and white powder, as well as a smashed television. They accompanied reports from local media, which showed the hotel receptionist had called emergency services.

The man told the emergency services: “We have a guest who is off his head on drugs and alcohol. And well, when he is conscious he is destroying everything in the room.”

Daily Star has referenced photos of the hotel suite, which had a large flatscreen television on racks of shelves. It appears to match one of the leaked photos which shows a smashed television.
The photo showing white powder, tin foil and scorch marks also features a small toiletries bottle which appears to say CasaSur on the side – the name of the hotel.
The images were broadcast on Argentinian media alongside reports of Liam’s death. It has not yet been 100% proven that this is Liam’s room however.
US publication TMZ broke the news of Liam’s death on Wednesday night. They originally published images of Liam’s body, showing his tattoos on his arm and torso.
However after heavy criticism, the photos were removed from their article.
According to local media, Liam had been acting “erratically” in the time leading up to his death. There were reports he had been “aggressive” and “under the effects of drugs and alcohol”.

Just after 5pm, hotel workers heard a loud sound from the courtyard. There, they found Liam’s body.
Buenos Aires police said in a statement: “Liam James Payne, composer and guitarist, former member of the band One Direction, died today after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Palermo.”
