Actress and former glamor model Gemma Atkinson is well know for her time gracing the likes of FHM and other now long-gone lads’ mags, but she does not regret it one bit.
The star was most well known for playing Lisa Hunter on Hollyoaks before a memorable stint on hit ITV show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, although many young males may know her from covers and posters.
Gemma, now 39, now positively looks back at her career as says it helped her get her foot firmly on the property ladder.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star at the Pride of Britain Awards about her former lads’ mag days, Gemma said: “I am so chuffed about it. I always say it got me two houses.”
When questioned on whether they should make a comeback, She responded: “I think everything is online now. But I loved the fact when I started going out with you (her partner Gorka Marquez), you said to your dad ‘oh google her’. And he did, so he saw these (her boobs) before he saw my face. So when i first met him I was like high-neck jumper going ‘Hi, nice to meet you’.”

Despite the awkward first encounter, she later added that she gets on famously with Gorka’s parents.
Gemma also revealed her mum was also a fan of her glamor modelling, even admitting that she has a huge collection of them.
She added: “My mum has got about seven scrapbooks in the loft of all my Nuts, FHM, ZOO.”
Her partner and Strictly Come Dancing pro Gorka Márquez also shared with us back in June about how his dad reacted to him first dating Gemma.

The couple have been engaged since 2021 and share two children together, four-year-old daughter Mia and one-year-old son Thiago.
They first met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, however, she was parted with his co-star pal Aljaž Škorjanec.
Gorka exclusively told Daily Star: “It is quite funny actually as when I told my dad who Gemma was, my dad Googled her name.

“He said ‘She’s beautiful’ and I then Googled her and the first picture that came up was one of her calendar pictures. So, I was like ‘Oh, great…’ he laughed.
Gemma was at the Pride of Britain Awards with Gorka, where the emontional event was celebrating its 25th anniversary.
