Katie Price has discussed her time in The Priory.
She opened up about her descent into a deep depression following her ex-husband Kieran Hayler’s affair with her former best mate of 25 years, which sent her mental health into a tailspin.
“I look back now and it makes me sick to think of the way I was. I never want to be in that position again. When I look at my notes from The Priory, I’m like ‘Oh my god, that was me’. It’s hard to believe I was that person and I felt that way.”

Reflecting on her past struggles, Katie revealed how she has since turned her life around: “I was so ill and I reflect on it now and how different I am. I know all the triggers and I got rid of the people out of my life who I knew weren’t good for me,” she said. In a candid chat on the podcast, Katie also delved into her well-documented addiction to cosmetic surgery.

Despite her outward confidence, the TV star confessed that her love affair with plastic surgery, including 17 breast jobs, eyelifts, a nose job, and more, might be rooted in insecurity. Chatting with Louis Theroux for a podcast episode recorded in June, the mother-of-five admitted she’s sometimes taken it too far with the surgeries.
“Sometimes in the past, I have looked in the mirror and thought: ‘OK, you’ve gone too far, just get it back out.’ So I can recognise when it’s too much but I don’t know, that’s another thing that I have to get to grasp with myself about the surgery thing.”, reports the Mirror.
Katie Price has candidly opened up, admitting: “I don’t know what it is, I think deep down there is something. I always said I haven’t got body dysmorphia but there’s definitely something.”

Despite becoming famous for her model looks, at 46, Katie doesn’t feel comfortable in her own skin, even telling Louis that she’s never sensed beauty in herself. She confided: “Even before I was a model, I always wanted my boobs done, always. And then when I was 18, I had them done so I’ve always liked that look but I’ve never looked in the mirror and thought: ‘Oh, I’m pretty’.”
Reflecting on her past appearance with distaste as ‘disgusting’, ‘awful’, and ‘rough’, Katie shared her reaction to old photos: “When people show me old pictures, I’m like: ‘Oof’.” Recently, Katie has been on cloud nine, proclaiming ‘the Pricey is finally happy now’, after showing off her new summer facelift look from Turkey, much to the delight of her OnlyFans admirers.
