Tipping Point fans were left fuming this evening over an episode of the ITV quiz show.
Max, Megan and Tracey were welcomed by host Ben Shephard for a chance to win £10,000. As per the game, all they need to do is answer questions correctly to win counters to put into the machine. The person who gets the most counters out of the machine in the first rounds will get to compete for the special jackpot counter.
Tracey was the first to be booted off the show, with Max and Megan going head to head for a chance to win the jackpot. However, as the episode got underway, fans were left fuming as they realised it was a repeat.
At the start of the show, Ben said: “Three prospectors have come from across the land to claim a fortune from this machine. Can any of them strike it rich and win £10,000? We’re about to find out on Tipping Point!”
Taking to social media, fans fumed over it being another repeat episode ahead of Deal Or No Deal coming back next week.
One fan wrote: “Jesus another repeat . Aired at least twice before #tippingpoint,” whilst a second added: “On a never ending loop.” A third penned: “Repeat of a very recent repeat, of a repeat. ITV off – have a good weekend Tippers. Max is too annoying to watch for a third time. #TippingPoint.” A fourth added: “Hello hello hello… Which repeat from last week will it be today? #TippingPoint.”
It’s not the first time the show has aired a repeat in recent times. Just a few weeks back, fans were left fuming when Ben Shephard introduced a ‘brand new series’ – only for it to be another repeat.
“Hello and welcome to Tipping Point. It’s the start of a brand new series and we’ve got a brand new set up. Three players will be facing our machine and they are all hoping to win thousands today,” he said.
However, viewers quickly noted the episode had been on before. One wrote: “This one was on not so long ago. Would you ever stop that ITV? #tippingpoint #ITV,” as a second added: “He said a new series and it’s not . #tippingpoint.” A third penned: “Come on @ITV you can do better than this. #TippingPoint,” with a fourth adding: “Brand new as if…. This was on just recently. #tippingpoint.”
Tipping Point airs on weekdays at 4pm on ITV1 and ITVX
