Devastated fans are still reeling from the shock at the loss of Liam Payne, after his sudden death in Argentina just over a week ago, while many of his friends continue to pay tribute to the talented singer. One friend has shared never-before-seen sketches by the former One Direction star, who died after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, October 16.
The lad from Wolverhampton, a loving dad, was stuck in South America waiting for his US visa to be renewed so he could jet back to Florida, where he’d recently moved in with his girlfriend, influencer Kate Cassidy, 25. She had been with Liam in South America, even hitting up Niall Horan’s gig in Buenos Aires, but flew back solo after their trip went from five days to a fortnight.
Liam’s untimely passing has left loved ones and legions of fans heartbroken, with social media tributes pouring in over the last 10 days. Singer Jamie Scott, 40, who penned “Night Changes” with One Direction, took to Instagram to share his grief, admitting he feels “lost” without Liam and reminiscing about how the star was always there for him despite their hectic lives, as well as his talent for all forms of art.

Jamie described Liam as “funny” with “the biggest heart, the cheekiest laugh,” and commended his “amazing” drawings, reports the Mirror.
Jamie has shone a light on the late vocalist’s artistic talents by revealing some of his unseen sketches. Amongst the sketches revealed for the first time was a striking black and white depiction of a Formula One car.
It seems that Liam had kept these artistic works under wraps, as they hadn’t been previously seen by the public, yet prominently featured his signature.
In a series of emotional snapshots, Jamie gave an intimate glance at moments between himself and Liam, including images with their partners and a tender picture where the singer is cradling Jamie’s son.
With a heavy heart, he penned a touching eulogy: “Dearest Liam, I’m lost today. We met at your first ever recording session, and from that moment on we became brothers.”
In paying respects, Jamie added, “Over the years you became part of my family. It’s hard to say that people in this industry become true best friends as lives are always busy and lots of people come and go, but you were an exception. Always there for me, always present, always kind.
“You had the biggest heart, the cheekiest laugh and were so funny. I would always look forward to seeing you cos I knew I’d be laughing all day. I’m so so sorry this world let you down. Me, Cat and the kids will miss you forever. I hope you know how much joy you gave people.
“I want you to know I had some of the most fun making this last album with you and it lifted my world to be around you so much. I know you are at peace now, you deserve to be. And I can imagine you looking down on us doing all the things that really made you you.
“Your amazing drawings, coming up with a million ideas a day, singing to your hearts content, making people smile and laugh. I hope you are getting to do all those things now in peace. All our thoughts are with Karen, Geoff, Nicola, Ruth and your gorgeous boy Bear.”
He concluded: “I’ll miss you every day. Rest Well brother. xxx.”
Many fans and friends have shared their condolences on Jamie’s post, celebrating Liam’s life and commending the friendship he and Jamie shared. One heartfelt message read: “Thank you for being such a good friend for him, especially the last few months while making his album. I really hope we’ll get to hear the work he poured his heart into while working with you for this one last album.”
Another individual highlighted the emotional investment in the music, urging Jamie: “Please please find a way to release this album that Liam poured his heart and soul into.
“He gave it everything I know, and he deserves to have it out here in the world to be loved. Proceeds could benefit his favourite charity, or his dear family. Please try.”
One fan, expressing their profound sorrow, stated: “You created such incredible music together, with Teardrops being a truly special one. We will miss Liam forever.”
The heartfelt tributes concluded with another mournful yet appreciative comment: “Thank you for being his friend. This world was never meant for one as beautiful as Liam. I’m sorry for your loss.”
