As Bonfire Night arrives in Walford there are set to be fireworks as bombshells are dropped leaving some residents furious in EastEnders.
The week kicks off with Reiss Colwell (Johnny Freeman) returning to Walford and being reunited with a hostile Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer).
The killers comeback goes from bad to worse when Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) reveals his private investigator has made progress in proving Sonia’s (Natalie Cassidy) innocence as she remains locked up for Debbie Colwell’s (Jenny Meier) murder.
Teddy confirms his pal has got his hands on CCTV for the warehouse near Debbie’s care home and Bianca demands to see the footage. But Reiss beats her to it and slyly steals the flash drive leaving Teddy furious.
He tells Bianca of Reiss’ latest dodgy move and she wastes no time in demanding answers leaving Reiss terrified. When Reiss finally lets himself out of the house he is also faced with Martin Fowler (James Bye), but the accountant reels off more lies.
In a turn of events, Bianca is given fresh home with Teddy hands her another copy of the footage. Reiss races to Bianca’s, but will he get there in time before she watches the tape?
As firework nights arrives, sparks fly between Reiss and Bianca, but will he be exposed as Debbie’s killer?
Kat Slater struggles
After Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall) was forced to leave home and live with Zack Hudson (James Farrar) the violent teen has left his mum Kat (Jessie Wallace) heartbroken.
Before their next social services meeting Kat continues to blank Stacey (Lacey Turner) before Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) tries to get the pair to call a truce.
But could his cunning plan lead to romance with his ex-wife? Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) is quick to note the chemistry between the former spouses.
At the social services meeting, Kat is devastated by how cold Tommy is towards her and fears they’ll never get their boy back home after he was caught being violent towards his brothers. However, the social worker says they can begin to work towards Tommy returning home.
Alfie tells the social worker that they desperately want Tommy back for Christmas and even manages to get through to their son as the session on a positive note.
Back at the flat, grateful Kat surprises Alfie with a kiss. Is this the start of a romance, or one huge mistake?
Jack Branning is in trouble
Jack Branning will find himself on the wrong side of the law next week, when he crashes a stolen car. As fans of the BBC soap will know, Jack (Scott Maslen) is being blackmailed by Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) after he was caught on video punching him.
Harry turns the screw on the copper by telling him that he’s got a job for him which Jack furiously turns down. However, Harry reminds him that if he doesn’t collect a stolen motor as instructed, he’ll destroy Jack’s career and put him behind bars, using the incriminating video.
To save his own skin, Jack goes ahead with the job and Harry takes photos of him in the act. Back in the Square, Jack is distracted by a text from Harry and drives into the back of Reiss’ car, causing damage to the stolen motor. But what will Harry do next?
