P Diddy was desperate to meet one senior royal family member before being jailed

P Diddy reportedly had a fascination with the Royal Family and wanted to meet a member before he was jailed.

The 54-year-old musician, who has performed under various names including Diddy, Puff Daddy and Love, is facing multiple lawsuits and is currently awaiting trial in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution.

As he remains in jail amid these shocking sexual abuse allegations, stories about his life outside music have emerged. One such tale suggests that Diddy had an obsession with the British royals and was particularly keen to meet one member – the late Queen Elizabeth II.

This revelation comes from a journalist for The Telegraph who recalls a conversation with Diddy in 2008, where the then 38-year-old expressed his disappointment at not meeting his favourite Royal.

The rapper told the interviewer: “The Queen of England. I don’t know why I’ve never met her”. He was “visibly baffled” by not having had an audience with Her Majesty, quipping, “She’s never invited me to the palace – not yet, anyway,” This oddity emerged alongside revelations from Diddy’s former publicist about his fascination with Princes William and Harry, reports the Mirror.

On Piers Morgan Uncensored, Rob Shuter shared that the music mogul persistently invited the princes to his soirees—around 10 invites but to no avail. Piers jested they’d had a “lucky escape”, while Rob recounted: “He used to ask me all the time, because I’m British, he thought that I knew them. I did not… Each day he would text me or call me wanting to know what was going on with the princes.”

Working for Diddy twenty years prior, Shuter said, “He asked me on more than 10 occasions if I could get an invite to the palace. I tried to try to get them to one, two, to three of his parties, they never did turn up.”

In an unrelated twist, Combs found himself in hot water, having been arrested last month in a Manhattan hotel following previous raids on his abodes in Los Angeles and Miami by federal authorities. Charges against him stem from allegations detailed by a grand jury indictment, seen by The Mirror, which includes abuse, coercion, and threats towards women dating back to 2008, seemingly for sexual gratification, protection of reputation, and concealing his behaviour.

Rap mogul Diddy is facing allegations of luring female victims and male sex workers into prolonged, drugged-up sex sessions known as “freak offs”. Texas attorney Tony Buzbee has come forward, stating that he represents 120 new alleged victims who plan to file civil lawsuits, with the youngest being just nine, 14, and 15 years old when the alleged abuse occurred.

On September 17, Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, declared outside the courthouse: “Mr Combs is a fighter, he’s going to fight this to the end. He’s innocent. He came to New York to establish his innocence. He’s not afraid, he’s not afraid of the charges.”

His legal team has also commented that Combs “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus”. Diddy is expected to remain incarcerated until his trial begins on May 5, 2025, which is anticipated to last three weeks.

He will face a Manhattan jury on serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, and if convicted, could receive a minimum sentence of 15 years or potentially life imprisonment.

Among his accusers is his ex-girlfriend, R&B singer Cassie, full name Casandra Elizabeth Ventura, who alleges a decade-long pattern of abuse starting when she was 19. Last year, the Bad Boy millionaire strongly refuted her allegations and denies all claims against him.
