Harry Judd’s spouse Izzy has spoken on their toddler son’s recovery after a nightmare chemical incident that sparked an emergency hospital trip.
The parents, who already have two older kids Lola, seven, and Kit, five, faced sheer panic when tot Lockie got injured by a bursting washing pod, requiring quick medical attention.
Thankfully, he’s back home but still on the mend from the scare that unfurled while the McFly legend was busy hyping up the group’s latest gig with Busted. Izzy spilt the beans about the frightful event and put out a strong heads-up to all parents to lock cleaning products far away from curious hands.

Post-hospital, she’s been fast to give thanks to NHS angels in an Insta shout-out: “A little update and a big thank you for all your kindness after sharing about what happened to Lockie on Monday night.
“We have followed up our treatment @moorfieldsnhs who explained that Lockie had a chemical burn on the top layer of his right eye. It was so important that he had the litres of saline in his eyes throughout the night at A&E, as left untreated I can’t begin to imagine where would be right now.
“We are now on a course of medication and follow up appointments but Lockie is in much better spirits and is healing well. Couldn’t be more grateful for the medical care we have received so quickly. I am feeling a bit all over the place so thank you again for your support and solidarity xx,” reports the Mirror.
The 40-year-old musician shared the traumatic experience of her son’s accident, revealing it was “pretty horrendous” to watch him undergo treatment. She detailed the ordeal in a post: “As you can imagine it was pretty horrendous having to watch and put Lockie through that, he doesn’t like getting his hair washed let alone having to lie there for 10 minutes for each litre of fluid.”
She continued: “We are now being closely monitored as his right eye is injured from the chemicals, we are in the best hands though and I’m so grateful to the specialists. Little Lockie is such a determined and brave little boy.” After sharing her story online, the mum-of-three received an outpouring of support.
One fan commented, reminding Izzy: “Accidents happen. Please be kind to yourself xx.”
Dr Zoe Williams added her support, writing: “Oh Izzy, so sorry you both went through this. Sending [love] and thank you for sharing – a really helpful reminder to us all! Xxx.”
Another follower responded: “Terrifying for you and little Lockie. Sending you lots of love and thank you for sharing this. A great reminder for everyone.”
