ITV Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ Jade’s ‘true’ identity – and Rebecca White is involved

Emmerdale viewers reckon they’ve sussed out the real deal with mystery woman Jade (Twinnie-Lee Moore), and some are convinced she knows the whereabouts of the missing Rebecca White (Emily Head).

In recent episodes, the shady character Jade was seen blackmailing Ross Barton (Michael Parr) and Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) into a fistfight for cash. Even after Billy clinched the win in their initial fight, it was clear Jade wasn’t done with her schemes.

During Tuesday’s nail-biting episode, Ross received an unwanted visit from one of Jade’s henchmen, who attacked him all to coerce him into another scrap with Billy.

“You could have just returned my call,” said Ross, only to get a chilling reply from Jade: “I thought you’d prefer a more personal touch.”

Ross, fresh from the hit, tried to hold his ground: “Like I said in my text, I am not up for a comeback fight,” reports Leeds Live.

But Jade was having none of it, pressing menacingly: “I lost big on that fight, you and Billy owe me,” she snarled. “I want it back with interest so there will be a rematch.”

As Ross claimed he couldn’t enter the ring again due to family commitments, Jade cruelly retorted: “Look, you fight, and she [Charity] will stay pretty, and so will that cute kid of yours.”

Maintaining her harrowing stance, Jade continued: “I have got a reputation to maintain.”

And if fans’ pulses weren’t racing enough, the final scenes saw Jade at Billy’s doorstep, threatening his loved ones if he didn’t agree to a second fight.

“Just show up and fight,” Jade coldly commanded him. “I would hate to take your wife to a crack den and whether reacquainted but needs must, but come to think of it, your kids would make a much easier target.”

Since Jade arrived in the village, the rumour mill has been churning, with fans dishing out their wild theories on who she could be. The chatter suggests she might have ties to the supposedly deceased Rebecca.

On one soap Facebook fan page, a user speculated, “Maybe Jade’s got her hiding somewhere because Ross didn’t play to her rules?” And they weren’t left hanging; another fan chimed in, “I thought the same.”

But that’s not the only hot take. A few eagle-eyed followers are convinced Rebecca isn’t six feet under.

Pointing to the digital breadcrumbs, one sleuth noted: “Rebecca’s death isn’t on the death list on the fandom page. I’ve just looked, so maybe she isn’t dead after all.”

The scent of mystery thickens as another adds: “I think she is going to rock up at some point,” and someone else echoes: “Don’t worry, Victoria Marple is on the case.”

A fellow viewer backed them up with: “Nosey Victoria will find out.”

Meanwhile, one critic puzzled over the mobile phone conundrum: “If she was dead for months, why would her phone have a battery and still be ringing after six months of being inactive? It cuts off.”

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
