Gary Barlow’s son has gone viral this week for the family’s rare snap together where he’s spotted towering over his famous dad.
But Daniel, 24, could capitalise on the attention and turn the meme-worthy moment into a business venture if he asks fast. According to an expert, if he “acts fast” he could even end up on the next series of Love Island.
Celebrity PR expert Rochelle White said: “I feel that his son could do a lot. I’m sure with his viral moments, he would have caught the eyes of talent managers, publicists and of course, TV shows.
“I’m sure ITV would potentially be interested in the show Love Island, he could also catch the eyes of brands looking to tap into him and use as a model for campaigns. He could even catch the eye of productions like Footaslyum LockedIn as an example and really tap into that Gen Z/ YouTube market.
“If he wanted to explore this, I do think he would have a solid few opportunities that could be of interest. I would say to watch this space as 2025, we could see him more on our screens.”
Daniel has also been advised to jump onto the bandwagon quickly if he is interested in pursuing a showbiz career as “the buzz fades” fast. Speaking on behalf of Betfred Lotto, Celebrity PR Specialist Kayley Cornelius also said: “When it comes to internet trends and viral memes, the buzz fades just as quickly as it rises.
“If Daniel wants to have the last laugh and cash in big on this newfound fame, my advice would be to act now and get his social media profiles up and running. In PR, timing is everything, so by responding now, he’ll get maximum engagement and likely attract tens of thousands of followers in the process.
“While the joke may die down soon, it’s almost certain this won’t be the last we see of Gary Barlow’s son on our screens. The coming weeks will likely be jam-packed for Daniel, as brands will likely be queuing up to collaborate with him on marketing campaigns and to join in on the fun. That’s why it’s essential for him to have a strong social presence going forward as engagement rates and follower count are key factors when it comes to negotiating brand deals. In terms of payment for these deals, he could easily be looking at multiple four-to five-figure sums per campaign.
