MAFS UK’s groom storms off after heated row with wife Polly leaving viewers stunned

Telly’s most jaw-dropping drama unfolded on Married at First Sight when Adam Nightingale and his wife Polly Sellman got into another fiery row.

On Monday’s episode (November 11), the sparks flew off the charts as the last standing couples gathered for a final dinner party showdown. But barely had they settled into the feast, Polly and Adam were at each other’s throats over their rocky romance.

Polly kicked off, feeling totally snubbed and slating Adam for not putting his back into their time together. Adam hit back pronto. Standing her ground while her emotions bubbled up, Polly received an earful when Adam retorted: “So why do you want to be with me?

“Why are you begging it off me? If I’m such a bad person yeah, then why the f*** do you want to be with me?” Adam chucked in his two pennies, convinced that “I don’t think it’s going to work,” reports the Mirror.

But then Polly later branded her husband a “narcissist”. This led him to leave the dinner party in anger.

However, the night continued to spiral into a fireworks display between the pair when Adam returned sending fans to social site X to share their thoughts. One viewer was having none of it, saying: “Polly saying Adam led her on. Girl, he said from the start he doesn’t fancy you, and you basically forced him to give you compliments. Move on hun, he won’t ever like you.”

Another was quick to slam Polly’s attitude: “The way Polly spoke to Adam was completely vile! No relationship will work with that level of disrespect!”

A third chimed in with some straight talk: “Honestly Polly he said on day one, you weren’t his type. Adam has been pretty honest throughout you just don’t like what he’s saying.”

But it wasn’t all team Adam, as some fans backed Polly, with one commenting: “To me, the journey has been Polly making excuses for him; and Adam has basically made excuses- he never liked her- he just wanted to be on TV!”

Married at First Sight airs Monday-Thursday at 9pm on E4.
