Most Haunted star Yvette Fielding conducted an investigation on the set of Coronation Street and came across some spooky sightings.
The TV star, 56, once took a tour of the ITV cobbles to see if she could find any spirits and she was lucky enough to spot some late stars on site.
The long-running soap, which is set in the fictional town of Weatherfield in Greater Manchester, was filmed at Granada TV studios for more than 50 years between 1960-2014. Nowadays, it is currently based at Media City in Salford, mainly filmed on a closed working set.
Talking about her time on the ITV set, Yvette said: “Weirdly enough, the old set of Coronation Street, I did an investigation there, and then they moved the set and apparently, some of the ghosts that people used to see at the old site, they’re now seeing at the new site.

“The lady that played Elsie Tanner, Pat Phoenix. Their ghosts are said to have been felt especially in the old dressing room areas, which is interesting. So anywhere, it’s a bit like a theatre, TV studios, of course, bound to be haunted. I’d love to look around the new set as well.”
Pat Phoenix played Elsie Tanner from 1960 to 1984 and is said to have been spotted a few times by cast members. Yvette has also teamed up with Ring to unveil the UK’s spookiest homes as captured in chilling detail on Ring cameras. Last month, they put a call out for the public to send footage of possible paranormal encounters in their home.

This follows Ring’s research that revealed 40% of Brits believe in paranormal activity. Two-thirds (68%) that witnessed paranormal activity have experienced it more than twice, with 62% of incidents occurring in the home.
Commenting on the findings, Yvette said: “The light anomalies caught on the Ring device are interesting. The fact that there is only one on its own in each video makes this footage fascinating as it could be the first stage of a ghost manifestation and worthy of further investigation.

“It can be quite daunting hearing an unexpected voice at your door, even more so when there’s nobody there. Hearing disembodied voices is a sign of a potential haunting within or around the home, so there could very well be something paranormal occurring here.”
