P Diddy joke leaves Big Brother fans gasping over presenter’s baby oil quip

Big Brother viewers were left cringing over a controversial P Diddy joke.

In a recent scene from the Late & Live show, Paul Potts stretched his leg out as Will Best pointed out: “Still so shiny!”

Another guest joked that the Ibiza Weekender star kept bottles of baby oil in his dressing room. Best then exclaimed: “Like P Diddy’s dressing room back there!” Viewers can hear the shocked gasps of the audience behind him after making the joke about the controversial rapper.

Will covered his mouth with his hand as he looked round the studio sheepishly.

P Diddy was arrested on 16 September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, all of which he “categorically denies”. Best’s joke is a reference to claims that during a police raid of Diddy’s mansion, authorities found over 1,000 bottles of baby oil at the property.

Someone posted a clip of the Big Brother star’s joke on Reddit, where many viewers joined in to laugh at the bold statement. Down in the comments, Reddit users flocked to share their thoughts on the jaw-dropping quip.

One person said: “Lol his face after he says it,” while another replied that Will “immediately realised that a P Diddy joke wasn’t the vibe for the audience”.

“Inappropriate maybe, but that’s actually pretty funny,” wrote another viewer before adding a laughing emoji. Someone else typed: “Come on that was funny [laughing emoji] I’m glad it was live cause it wouldn’t make the cut if it was pre-recorded.”

Will cracked the joke and viewers were divided

Another person lost their mind over the quip: “Omg this had me dying!! Best moment of the late and live of the series, damn that was funny!!” while one person called the joke “funny as f***.”

A Reddit users branded people that didn’t find the joke funny as “too uptight,” but one reply defended them: “Finding something funny is different to a dark joke for a light audience. It’s not that deep, it’s just posted so people can see it cause people are already getting confused about what he said. He didn’t say ‘I love Diddy,’ it was an obvious joke but dark jokes to a wide audience are really hard to land.”
