Liam Payne reportedly asked a man for seven grams of narcotics the day he died.
One Direction legend Liam Payne tragically fell to his death last month, as he stayed in the luxurious CasaSur hotel in Buenos Aires in Argentina. The Strip That Down singer had been in the country to support fellow bandmate Niall Horan as he embarked on a huge solo concert in the city, together with girlfriend Katie Cassidy.
Following his death, authorities have been combing through the evidence to establish what may have caused him to fall 40 feet from the balcony of him third floor hotel room. Investigations from the scene found that drugs had been present in the room when he passed away.

Now, it has been alleged that on the day of his death, Liam had asked a hotel worker to get him seven grams of cocaine. The information came as a video in which the For You singer steps out of a lift to speak to one of the hotel workers suspected of supplying him with narcotics emerged.
A hotel staff worker is seen stacking chairs in the video before being approached by a man – understood to be Liam, report TMZ. Liam is only seen for a number of seconds, before turning around and walking back to the elevator.
Liam was alleged to have been provided drugs hidden in a Dove soap box. Argentinian news site Infobae reported the incident taking place at 2pm local time – just three hours before Liam’s death.
As well as this, the entertainment website claimed that the singer, who passed away at the age of 31, asked the staff worker for “seven grams of the same drug the hotel worker had handed him earlier that same day”, which was believed to be cocaine. Infobae went on to claim that the worker was able to source the drugs for Liam within one hour.
According to the website, two other co-workers in the hotel had seen the conversation take place and were co-operating with authorities in Argentina as the investigation continues. It is believed the two colleagues offered statements which confirmed that Liam and the man had been in contact by the lift.
The man is one of three people suspected of supplying the singer with narcotics, just days after getting the all-clear on a drugs test that would have guaranteed the extension of his American residency visa. A second man, not seen in the video, who also worked at the hotel, admitted to taking drugs with Liam, but denies supplying the drugs to him.
It comes as Liam’s body was flown back to the UK after a delayed repatriation process. The star is set to have his funeral this month in his hometown of Wolverhampton; though details of the ceremony have yet to be released.
Daily Star has contacted the hotel for comment.
