Jeremy Vine accidentally says he’s ‘bisexual’ in awkward ping pong confession

Jeremy Vine’s show recently descended into chaos.

The star was joined by William Hanson as the pair discussed etiquette on Vine’s self-titled show, which spiralled out of control as the presenter accidentally admitted to something he didn’t mean.

Hanson said: “What people don’t understand is that etiquette has to evolve, it would be ridiculous if people like me were just still trying to get people to do really antiquette things, and of course you’re left handed. I noticed when you were doing your drawing.”

Hilariously Vine then responded with: “I’m bi…is it bisexual?” as Hanson answered: “I don’t think you’re bisexual – well you could be! I don’t know Jeremy. I think it’s ambidextrous.”

Jeremy barely acknowledged his faux pas and continued to explain: “No, but I can’t use both hands for everything. I write left handed but I would play table tennis right handed. I think that might be bidextrous. It’s really boring actually!”

Vine giggled at his joke before holding a finger up to the camera to note: “It’s not the same as bisexual!” Hanson backed up his comment by echoing his remark and the pair left home audiences in stitches.

One person even took a clip from the show and uploaded it to X/Twitter, where other Vine fans laughed over his accidental “confession”.

In the caption they wrote: “Jeremy Vine accidentally just said [he] was bisexual because he writes with his left hand and plays tennis with his right.” One fan lovingly typed: “I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….he’s more Partridge than Partridge!”

Another person added a gif that read “whoopsies” as another joked: “Lads, don’t tell Jeremy Vines that you’re ambidextrous. He might get the wrong idea.”
