She once confessed to her followers that the pressures of modelling made it “very difficult” to steer clear of drugs and alcohol when feeling down. The star is currently braving the wild in Celebrity Bear Hunt, a survival show led by the legendary Bear Grylls.

During an emotional exchange on the show, Lottie talked about her time in rehab which prompted Boris Becker to ask: “What were you rehabbing for?” Her candid reply: “Drugs and depression.”

“You become quite numb. I didn’t feel anything, I didn’t care pretty much if I lived or died,” she continued. “I would’ve run into the ground and my mum said, ‘You need to go to rehab.’ It made me feel better but it didn’t really work.”

When Steph McGovern probed about what did aid her recovery, Lottie’s heartbreaking response was: “Nothing. I’m not going to lie to you guys, before coming in here, I was about to go to rehab again,” reports the Mirror.
