A Love Island icon recently underwent a gruelling procedure and has issued a health update from hospital, explaining that they currently feel “nauseous and in pain”
A Love Island star has issued a health update after surgery.
Samantha Kenny has revealed she’s undergone a breast augmentation and lift, sharing her journey with fans on social media. The 27 year old makeup artist turned reality star, who entered the ITV villa last year, was open about her decision to enhance her figure.
Despite being dumped by TOWIE’s Joey Essex for Grace Jackson during her stint on the show, Samantha has since found success as a social media influencer. She took to Instagram on Tuesday to share that she was preparing for surgery and posted a video of herself makeup-free in pyjamas.
Samantha didn’t shy away from discussing the details of her procedure, revealing she chose a Manchester-based surgeon Dr Nassad after hearing positive feedback from friends and a consultation with him in November.
She explained: “I’m not just getting an implant. I’m getting an implant and an uplift. Just purely for the fact that for the age of 27, my boobs are a lot further down south than I’d like them to be. So we thought it was best that I did opt for the implant as well as the uplift.”
She further explained: “I’m only getting like a 280CC which isn’t big at all. I am only small and I am only petite so we just want it to fit my frame. I still want them to look natural-ish, but obviously I want you to be able to tell that I’ve had my boobs done.”
Samantha was also seen in a hospital bed wearing a gown with a drip attached to her hand – a sight she highlighted after having to remove her nails for the operation. “I’m done! The nails are giving me anxiety. Yeah, all done. Everything went really well. I can see them a little bit, but obviously they’re really swollen,” she commented while glancing down her gown, reports the Mirror.
“Yeah, the staff have been absolutely unbelievable, can’t fault them. I’m in a bit of pain, yeah, you know I am in pain. But I think the worst thing about it all is the anaesthesia, the nausea you get after it is just [groans], like when you come around and you’re just high as a kite.”
Samantha also reassured her followers that she’d be documenting everything to share with them, but would hold off on a detailed Q&A until she’d “healed” from the significant surgery.
