The former Coronation Street star and Strictly Come Dancing champ is flogging her old clothes on the fashion site Vinted, after admitting she’s not currently working
A former Corrie star and Strictly champ has been flogging clothes on Vinted.
Ellie Leach, 23, played Faye Windass on the ITV soap for 12 years until her exit in May 2023. She appeared on Strictly shortly after, and went on to win the show with pro dancer Vito Coppola.
Rumours swirled that she was dating fellow Strictly star and EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier during the Strictly live tour. Cosy photos of the two emerged, but neither confirmed the romance – she also said the pair were “friends”.
However, Ellie has now decided to sell some of her clothes on the fashion site Vinted – with certain items priced at just £4. She’s got frocks of varying sizes on offer, from stylish pink and black numbers to a green Little Mistress bodycon for £15.
You can also pick up a pair of black PLT heels for just £8, or a pair of pastel-coloured sandals in the UK shoe size 5. However, you can also place offers on the products if you want to try and get them for less.
The actress recently shared a snap on her Instagram which showed her and her friend Hannah booking a holiday. She captioned the snap: “Working lunch (we are booking a holiday.),” adding: “She’s a student and I’m unemployed.”
Showing off her Vinted products, she told followers: “Selling some bits on my Vinted if anyone fancied having a look. This picture has no relevance I just looked cute in the Avanti West Coast toilets.”
Ellie was recently acting in the touring theatre production of Cluedo 2, where she played Miss Scarlett, but the show finished in November. In December, she revealed she was currently out of work.
Ellie teased a return to Corrie last year during an appearance on BBC’s The One Show. She said: “I mean never say never,” adding: “Obviously, [Faye] didn’t die.”
The Faye star explained: “I spent so many amazing years there, I grew up there, and they will always be like my family, so yeah, it was an amazing experience and I loved it.”
