Gogglebox icon admits one show he’d never do as he laughs off suggestion

Gogglebox personality Joe Baggs has shared his future telly plans as he carves out a career in the world of the small screen after leaving the Channel 4 show in 2022

Gogglebox star Joe Baggs has opened up about his future hopes and dreams for his career in telly. Though there is one show that you definitely will not find him on.

When asked if he had turned down any shows in the past, the TV star, 27, told Daily Star: “I mean, can you see me doing Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins?” Before laughing: “No, me either!”

Joe then shared the shows he would like to sink his teeth into and participate in and said: “I’m all about the Traitors and Celeb Big Brother.”

The content creator, whose family left Gogglebox in 2022 two years after joining the Channel 4 show, also shared that he would be up for returning to the series, but this time with a twist.

Initially Joe joined the show with his family which consists of mum Lisa, dad Terry, and brother George. But this time he would be up for cosying up on the sofa with his partner Kaine Ruddach.

The couple recently moved into their own place and would love to join the show together. Joe said: “Oh my god, Gogglebox at home with Kaine would be such a dream, imagine us with our little Jellycats all around us would be so cute.”

His partner Kaine also agreed: “I would love to do this with Joe, I think we would both be open to the idea, we absolutely love show.”

Joe’s actor partner also explained how their new living situation had gone mostly without a hitch, until it came to some of Joe’s cleaning habits.

Kaine added: “Everything has gone super smooth, the only thing that is really annoying me is he refuses to load the dishwasher, he claims its because he ‘always does it wrong’ so says Terry Baggs, so now he has dishwasher loading phobia and I am getting the brunt of it! That’s literally it so far, think we’ve been very lucky.”

The new couple first met outside a pal’s party, where Joe not so subtly hinted at Kaine that he was interested. Kaine explained: “We met through a mutual friend at a birthday party and we have literally never spent a day apart since. We were connected at the hip straight away.

“Thank god, because he nearly actually left the party in a cab, and then hopped out last minute to ‘shoot his shot’ with me, which basically consisted of him standing shoulder to shoulder awkwardly with me until I spoke to him.”
