Sunday Brunch viewers were in for an awkward surprise on March 2, when one of their much-anticipated celebrity guests was a no-show on the Channel 4 show.
Producers had lined up ‘Selling Sunset’ sensation Bre Tiesi to join the likes of ex-TOWIE standout Megan McKenna, who recently welcomed her first child, G’Wed actor Jake Kenny-Byrne, author Liz Pichon, crooner Antony Szmierek and Jon Ronson on the couch.
But when the camera panned to an empty seat, Tim Lovejoy had to chip in with a “breaking news” interruption to reveal the missing reality star’s whereabouts. More than halfway through, the hosts cleared up the mystery of Bre’s disappearance, pointing out she’d been at the BRIT Awards the previous evening.
Tim reassured the audience, saying: “Breaking news, Bre from Selling Sunset is in the car and she’s at the hotel,” sparking a cheer across the studio.
He jokingly explained: “For anyone that doesn’t know Bre was supposed to be on the show this morning but she went to the BRITs last night and so she is going to turn up, when she turns up but she’s a friend of ours, so we don’t mind.

“We just hope she manages to make it at some stage.”
Elsewhere in the show, Tim had to explain why Megan, of TOWIE and X Factor fame, had suddenly disappeared from her seat mid-show, leaving them down to four guests live on air.
Addressing the sudden vacancy, Tim explained: “Sorry Megan has just had to step away to feed Landon [her baby son], which is why she’s now missing.”
Bre shot to fame in 2022 on Netflix’s ‘Selling Sunset’, where she worked as a real estate agent at the swanky Hollywood Hills brokerage, The Oppenheim Group, reports the Mirror.
She’s a mum to her son Legendary Love, whom she shares with Nick Cannon, and last December, Bre set the record straight on Sophie Habboo’s podcast, confirming that she and Nick are still going strong.
