McFly’s Danny Jones other half Georgia has finally broken her silence after her husband was allegedly caught smooching Love Island’s Maura Higgins at the BRITs after party.
Just hours following the whispers about Danny’s cheeky encounter with his ITV jungle co-star Maura, Georgia chatted on a fresh episode of the Mum’s The Word with Kelsey Parker.
In it, she chatted all things family life with Kelsey, gushing over life with their little ones and steering clear of any hubby talk. She dished on mothering, moving house, and even their Oz adventure to support Danny in I’m A Celeb, without giving him a shout-out.
Meanwhile, Danny was spotted leaving the star-studded afterparty, which had celebs like Sam Thompson and Oti Mabuse buzzing around. Although he hit up the BRITs with McFly mate Tom Fletcher, Danny flew solo at the bash where he and Maura reportedly got cosy.
Rumour has it they shared a ‘drunken kiss’ at the Universal Music shindig at 180 Studios. The Sun’s got the scoop with footage that seems to show Danny, who tied the knot with Georgia back in 2014, having a bit of a smooch with Maura.
A source revealed to the publication that the duo “seemed to be having a great time,” and didn’t hold back with the juicy details: “They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss,” also reports OK!
The talk didn’t stop there; the source dished out that after their jungle stint on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity last year, where Danny took the crown, they’ve been thick as thieves, “talking and laughing for ages”. The insider claimed they were practically joined at the hip for 90 minutes at the bash while others partied up a storm around them.
Another source claimed Danny played the knight in shining armour, doling out advice to Maura and even slinging his arm around her shoulder at one point. They said she got all comfy too, resting her head on his shoulder while they mingled with mates post her split from Pete Wicks.
Just before the clock struck 3am, Danny and Maura made their way to the foyer together, where their supposed smooch was caught on camera. They reportedly left the venue all smiles, alongside their former I’m A Celebrity pal, Oti.
The pair were then seen chuckling away at Sony Music’s afterparty at Nobu Hotel an hour later. According to the grapevine, the ex-campmates were “still grinning” and having a laugh at the second shindig.
McFly’s Danny has been off the market since tying the knot with his missus Georgia in 2014, and they have a seven year old nipper, Cooper. Maura, on the other hand, was rumoured to be an item with Pete, but last month’s tittle-tattle suggested they’re just mates post-breakup.
Interestingly, at the BRIT Awards, Maura and Pete seemed to play a game of cat and mouse, avoiding each other both on the red carpet and at the afterparty.
