Martin Lewis was back at the helm of the ITV money saving programme on Tuesday alongside co-star Jeanette Kwakye where the pair discussed the latest financial deals

Martin Lewis, the renowned money-saving expert, collapsed on stage during his live show after discussing his health issues.

The 52-year-old was co-hosting his popular programme with Jeanette Kwakye at the ITV studios on Tuesday when he suddenly fell ill.

The main topic of the evening was how viewers aged between 40 and 73 could potentially boost their state pensions. Martin explained how an £800 investment could turn into £5,000 before the opportunity closes in April 2025.

However, towards the end of the show, it became apparent that all was not well with the presenter. He admitted to losing his voice and was seen coughing throughout the programme, taking frequent water breaks to ease his discomfort.

Despite appearing visibly distressed, Jeanette asked him about next week’s show. During the last segment of the show, he admitted he was losing his voice after battling through the wave of questions from viewers.

Between coughs, he spluttered: “I’m really close to the end on time. That’s it from me. my voice has gone, JK”. To which she replied: “Oh no! I Was going to ask you what’s going on next week” before she burst into laughter.
