Most people can’t think of anything worse than having to tell their parents about what they get up to in the bedroom, but Maura Higgins apparently tells her mum every single detail
Love Island star Maura Higgins isn’t shy when it comes to sharing the details of her love life.
The reality TV star apparently tells her mum “every gory detail” about what she does behind closed doors, including “what they’re like in bed,” despite her claim she hasn’t got a great track record with men.
While in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, Maura, who was recently caught kissing Danny Jones from McFly, opened up about sharing info with her mum.
Maura told fellow celeb GK Barry that she tells her mum everything there is to know about her love life. She even confessed about giving away intimate details, adding: “if I slept with a guy, my mum will ask me: ‘Well, what was he like in the bed?’ and she will get every gory detail.”
Mum Sharon, 55, insists it’s Maura who is the one offering up all the juicy info and that everything she has heard was against her wishes: “I would say to her on Facetime: ‘Is everything okay? Are you happy in all aspects of your relationship?’
“And she would always try and embarrass me by saying this, that and the other and I would say: ‘Too much information. I don’t need to know, I don’t need to know.’ She likes to make me embarrassed,” shared Sharon.
However the loving mum insisted she is happy her daughter is opening up in the jungle. She added: “I think Maura is always going to be Maura.
“She’s obviously comfortable in her surroundings, with the people she’s with, and she feels free to be able to chat about anything,” she said of her time in the jungle. Maura shocked viewers at home when she discovering an ex was cheating on her before she went on Love Island, so she scrubbed the loo with a toothbrush.”
“I can’t believe she told that story on National TV but that just tells you anyone that dates her to watch out. You don’t cross Maura,” said her mum.
Maura also told GK Barry that she wasn’t dating Pete Wicks, despite having been seen kissing him multiple times: “I’m single. People can date and not be in a relationship and take things slow.”
Sharon insisted Maura and Pete were just “good friends.” Her mum added: “She’s on the dating scene. That’s all she has told me. So that’s all I can go by.”
Maura was filmed kissing McFly star Danny Jones at a BRIT Awards afterparty, and now his wife is said to be “humiliated” following their “drunken kiss”.
