EXCLUSIVE: Coronation Street star and I’m A Celeb beauty Helen Flanagan has opened up about her sparkling telly career and which shows she would be keen to do in the future
Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has opened up about her telly career and shared some rather interesting facts.
In collaboration with WhichBingo.co.uk, the actress highlighted some of her top telly moments and her future hopes for being on the box.
Mum-of-three Helen told us: “I am obsessed with Strictly. I don’t think I would be any sort of amazing dancer but I know I would enjoy it and work hard.”
She also went on to tell us that she was first offered to do the BBC dancing competition back when she was 22 but decided to do the ITV jungle instead.
Talking about her I’m A Celeb stint, Helen added: “Maybe not for the right reasons, it gave me a bit of a name but it has helped me build my career, I have no regrets.”
Before she headed to South Africa for the All Stars version of the show in 2022, Helen revealed a major hack which helped her get through the experience way easier than her first time in 2012.
While laughing Helen explained “I hired a phobia coach” which helped her with snakes and spiders for her second shot at the show. Helen also spoke about how to remain confident in the public eye after developing a “thick skin”.
Helen explained: “I have learned to have those self talks as you get older to remind yourself how great your are. I am really good friends with Ashley James and I love everything she posts about body confidence and being comfortable in your own skin.
“We have to be careful about how we engage with social media and how it can affect your mental health. Only follow accounts that make you feel good about yourself.”
Helen is also eyeing up a return to the ITV soap which first shot her to fame as Rosie Webster. The actress revealed she would love for Rosie to take on a job at The Rovers so she can live out her barmaid dream for the character.
