Video has emerged of iconic rock star’s fiancee stepping overboard on cruise ship

Police have obtained video footage capturing the moments leading up to the tragic death of the fiancée of Faster Pussycat’s lead singer.

Kimberly Burch, Taime Downe’s long term partner, died tragically at sea last week after falling overboard on a cruise ship on the first night of The 80s Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas

However, it is now understood that police have video of the moments before she fell, and a source with direct knowledge told TMZ that the video that shows Kimberly climbing the ship’s rail and taking a step off.

Despite extensive search and rescue efforts, her body remains missing, and there is currently no official word of how her death is being ruled.

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office confirmed the investigatio is still ongoing after they set up a crime scene at the Port of Miami on Sunday after the ship docked.

A spokesperson for Royal Caribbean Group told Mail Online: “Our crew immediately launched a search and rescue effort, is working with local authorities, and we are providing support and assistance to the guest’s family during this difficult time. To respect the privacy of our guest’s family, we have no additional details to share.”

The 56-year-old real estate agent had been in a relationship with the 60-year-old musician for around six years and was set to see him perform on the cruise that departed from Miami with stops including Nassau, San Juan, and Labadee.

Just hours before her untimely death, Burch shared a social media post alongside Downe, captioning it: “We made it to @the80scruise.”

Carnell Burch, Kimberly’s mother, confirmed the devastating news to TMZ, after Downe had called her to report the tragic event. Further details were provided by A U.S. Coast Guard spokesperson told the publication the incident happened around 20 miles away from Freeport, Bahamas.

A fellow passenger took to X, posting: “Currently on the #RCL Explorer of the Seas for the #80scruise. Unfortunately, we have a ‘woman overboard’ situation and boats have been deployed. We are currently 80+ miles from Miami at 11pm PST. Not good.”

Just a fortnight ago, Downe had referred to himself as a “lucky man” in a heartfelt Valentine’s Day Instagram post, captioning it: “I had a beautiful #valentinesday with my love and better half @burchkimberly. We ate candy and cupcakes.. I’m a lucky man!”
