Emmerdale fans are convinced Vanessa Woodfield ‘knows’ about Suzy Merton and Mary Goskirk’s kiss – and she is planning her revenge.
Over in on Dales recently, Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) was left heartbroken when Suzy (Martelle Edinborough) tragically died following a limo crash. Viewers watched with their jaws on the floor as two limos, filled with 17 villagers, crashed – leaving them all in danger.
But it was the ladies limo that ended up getting plunged into an icy lake after Charity (Emma Atkins) veered off the road. In a tragic turn of events, the crash resulted in the death of Suzy who hit her head on the roof of the vehicle.
Terrified, the others then managed to escape from the sinking limo – but passengers Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) and Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) also later died, reports Leeds Live.
Since the crash, the villagers has been left coming to terms with the loss of their neighbours. However, it was teased that Mary Goskirk (Louise Jameson) was hiding something major from Vanessa about Suzy.
Via a flashback, it was revealed that Mary and Suzy spoke about their true feelings for each other before Suzy headed off to the limo.
Suzy told Mary that she thought she was in a relationship with the wrong person, referring to Vanessa. And while Mary was stunned at first, the feeling was mutual. Mary and Suzy then locked lips however, this was witnessed by Leyla – who has arrived to pick up Suzy for their night out.
Since then, Mary has been racked with guilt – especially when Vanessa confided in her that she was planning to ask Suzy to marry her. Mary even lied to Vanessa, claiming that Suzy would have said yes.
But now, fans are convinced that Vanessa ‘knows everything’ about Suzy and Mary – and is planning some serious revenge. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person mused: “I have a feeling Vanessa might be aware of Mary and Suzy kissing.”
Someone else agreed: “I thought that too,” as a third pointed out: “Leyla could have told her, she caught them remember!” Another then said: “She’s probably stringing her along until she gets pay back.” Predicting a shock murder twist, a fourth fan wrote: “Vanessa to kill Mary then?”
