Following months of verbal and physical torment from Arlo, Ro has been feeling increasingly isolated. However, he did manage to form a connection with Kathleen-Angel McQueen, sparking hints that he might harbour romantic feelings for her.

In this week’s episodes, Ro voiced his fears about his future looking rather grim to his new friend, reports the Mirror. During Wednesday’s (April 2) episode, available for streaming online, Ro met up with Kathleen-Angel.

As the young pair got better acquainted, Ro revealed to Kathleen-Angel that he’s been conversing with a new digital buddy named Nina.

As they discussed it, Ro explained that Nina lends an ear to his problems and offers him some comfort. But who exactly is this enigmatic new character?

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one viewer speculated: “Do we think Nina is a possible child predator or a real teen that Ro is speaking to? # Hollyoaks.”

Another chimed in: “What if Nina is Ds Banks? He’s dating Ro’s mum which gives him easy access to Ro and he knows he is vulnerable #hollyoaks.”

A third fan expressed concern: “Ro is way too young to be targeted by the exploitation ring right……right. please say right. #hollyoaks.” DI Banks was recently unmasked as the mastermind behind Grace Black and Rex Gallagher’s human trafficking plot.

Frankie Osborne, portrayed by Isabelle Smith, and Dillon Ray, played by Nathaniel Dass, have been ensnared in the gripping narrative, seduced by the allure of a seemingly glamorous lifestyle.

However, the harsh truth is that they’ve been drawn into a dangerous underworld from which escape is nearly impossible without outside help, a world rife with criminal activity and sexual exploitation.
