P Diddy has been charged with a new federal indictment, which has charged him with five new criminal counts.

Diddy, real name Sean Combs, has a trial date set for 5 May. His lawyer has previously told The Mirror that the star “categorically denies” the allegations made against him.

“As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.”

“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”

P Diddy’s lawyers recently slammed a documentary based on the rapper’s life. Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy is a Peacock project which claims to be a tell-all with alleged associates, including people who claim to be a childhood friend, a former bodyguard and a winner of Making the Band, all featuring in the doc.

The lawyers spoke against the project and said that “these documentaries include unchecked claims and provide platforms for baseless conspiracy theories without accountability or evidence.”

They also said: “In the case of the Peacock documentary in particular, the motivations and credibility of those being interviewed must be questioned. Many claim to have knowledge but lack any connection to the truth, while their wild, unfounded theories are cut and sensationalized to appear factual.”

In the trailer for the Peacock documentary, a man claims to have “known Sean since he was four-years-old” and branded the rapper “his little bro[ther].”

A woman also claimed that she attended a number of “Puffy parties” and branded them events that partygoers needed “exclusive access to get in to”.

A different woman spoke to the camera and said: “Honestly, I didn’t want to be around him unless there was cameras.” Text over the trailer claims that the documentary would “reveal his darkest moments”.
