Anna, 52, spoke to the Daily Star and revealed that there are thousands of willing participants every year, and confirmed the big question that we all want to know – do they have to get their kit off to audition?

The host explained: “It’s Studio Lambert that make the show, I’m not part of production, but I do know that there’s a very stringent audition process.

“We get loads of thousands of people that apply. In the audition tape, you do have to get your tackle out. You’ve got to put your money where your mouth is, and then the team go from there.

“It is a very funny, I suppose, very unconventional way of auditioning. And it’s not like your average job, is it really, that you’ve got to drop your trousers in order to get through to the next round.”

Anna confirmed that the show’s care for the contestants is top notch and added: “Our duty of care is really good, and we absolutely do go through the hoops when it when it comes to making sure that everything’s done correctly.

“It’s not just about getting people to strip off on tape, this is about you’ve auditioned to do this show, you’re aware of the fact that it is a naked show. So are you comfortable getting naked now? Otherwise, there’s no point in going in taking you through if you’re not.”

When asked if there were any tips she had for budding contestants, she revealed it all comes down to what the casting team are looking for at the time,

The host shared: “The casting team do an amazing job, and there’s very different criteria depending on what we’re looking for.

“So it might be that we’re looking for people that might want to be in a throuple, or it might be that we’re focusing on older people. It really depends.

“I don’t think there’s any sort of set things in terms of standing out from the crowd. It just depends on what we’re looking for.”

But does she have any advice to singletons who would consider the show, but may be a little nervous? “We come into the world naked. We’re going to go out of the world naked.

“If you want to be successful in love, in my opinion, and successful in life, you’ve got to be comfortable with who you are, and that means being comfortable in your own skin.

She would love to make a new series

“Every single person we’ve had on that show genuinely has walked out of that set and off that studio floor saying that’s one of the best things they’ve ever done. Every single person has come back going, I feel absolutely stoked after doing that. I could just rule the world.

“So I think there’s something about embracing authentically who you are and just being comfortable with your body.

“And on a serious note because we do tackle stigma on that show, there are people that go on there that may be HIV positive, they might have a hidden disability, a stoma, or they might be going through their transitioning period on their journey.

“So these are people that with their clothes off, are saying, ‘This is who I am, if you can accept me with my clothes off, then we are onto a winner’.

“There’s something really freeing about Naked Attraction, and it does tackle those taboos.”
