Celebrity Big Brother’s Angellica Bell dealt bitter blow hours before launch show

Former CBBC presenter Angellica Bell is reportedly one of the celebrity housemates stepping into the iconic TV house, but she’s been dealt some bad news by the bookies

Angellica Bell has been dealt a major blow before she walks into the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Celebrity Big Brother returns to ITV tonight (April 7), and it’ll see a brand new batch of celebs become unlikely housemates. Stars such as Patsy Palmer, Mickey Rourke and TV presenter Angellica are rumoured to be entering the TV house, which has had a makeover.

Bell, 49, is famed for presenting on CBBC between 2000 and 2006, but she is also seen filling in on BBC’s The One Show. Last week, it was reported that Angellica would be joining the CBB line-up.

However, it seems she could be in trouble already. According to the AceOdds.com Supercomputer, Angellica is most likely to be the first housemate to be evicted.

The supercomputer correctly predicted McFly star Danny Jones to become King of the Jungle last year. It also predicted Corrie’s Sam Aston to win Dancing on Ice earlier this month.

The Supercomputer reckons former Love Islander Chris Hughes is set to win, while Angellica’s time could be much shorter than she’d hoped for. It’s gone through the Celeb Big Brother history books and picked Chris to win it.

It has analysed all 23 previous winners and has concluded that the perfect CBB champ is a 38-year-old English male TV personality. It would appear that Chris, who is aged 32, fits the bill the most.

Celebrity Big Brother, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, returns on Monday (April 7)

Historically, the first star out is a woman, often a model, around 44 years old. While Angellica isn’t a model, she fits the trend of female contestants in their 40s making early exits – such as like Jackiey Budden, Cheryl Fergison and Sally Bercow.

If Chris wins, he will be following in the footsteps of last year’s king of house, David Potts, 2013’s Charlotte Crosby and many more. A spokesperson said: “Our Supercomputer has crunched the numbers, and it turns out Big Brother has a type fit for the Love Island villa – English, male and famous for yapping on TV.

“And the results are clear – Chris Hughes is primed for victory. As for the first eviction? Our data suggests Angellica Bell could be packing her bags sooner than she’d like. If history repeats itself, Angellica will end up Big Brother’s big loser.”

The presenter is reportedly heading into the CBB house

Former politician Sir Michael Fabricant, another rumoured name on the line-up, will be hoping to do the impossible. He will have to win over a lot of people given how unpopular the Tory part were at the last General Election.

Meanwhile, Olympic legend Daley Thompson would become only the second sportsperson to ever win the show after Katie Price’s ex Alex Reid. Olivia Attwood, Chris’ ex, has admitted on her Kiss radio show it “will be weird to see someone I’ve dated” in the house.

She also spoke to Love Island Add Stars winners Gabby Allen and Case O’Gorman and confessed she “hated” Chris after they moved in together.” I moved him into my own home I mean like a week after leaving the villa. And we weren’t even getting on.

“So he moved in with a bag and was like, ‘I hate you.’ And I was like, ’I f***g hate you. There’s the bathroom and there’s your cupboard.”
