Celebrity Big Brother fans were left in disbelief as two of this year’s housemates shared a hidden connection, which was exposed during Monday’s opening episode
Two iconic Celebrity Big Brother housemates have a bizarre link to each other.
The latest episode, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, introduced a fresh batch of celebs ready to stir up three weeks of unmissable drama in the house.
First to strut into the spotlight was none other than pop legend Chesney Hawkes, followed by Dance Moms sensation JoJo Siwa and telly favourite Trisha Goddard.
As Trisha made her grand entrance, she beelined for Chesney and expressed her excitement before dropping the bombshell that they have a previously unknown link: “You know what, I’m glad to meet you,” Trisha gushed to the ‘The One and Only’ hitmaker.
“Did you go to St Ann’s Primary School?” she quizzed, leaving Chesney stunned as he exclaimed: “I did! You are joking!”
Trisha then reminisced about their shared stomping grounds mentioning Sir William Perkins school, her dad’s job at Holloway Sanitorium and her time working at a local pub, reports OK!.
“The Rose and Crown? I live right near there. I moved back there,” Chesney revealed, with Trisha adding a cheeky comment about the men’s toilets being “horrific”.
The surprises didn’t stop there; when EastEnders icon Patsy Palmer waltzed in, Trisha disclosed that they used to rub shoulders in West Hollywood.
Celebrity Big Brother fans were quick to flood X/Twitter with their astonishment at the connections.
“Trisha knows everyone… went to same school as Chesney and partied with Patsy in West Hollywood,” tweeted an amazed viewer.
Meanwhile, fans found humour in JoJo’s reaction as Trisha and Chesney reminisced about old times. One viewer quipped: “Jojo staring at the wall as Trisha and Chesney embrace in each other with their backstories.”
Another chimed in: “Trisha and Chesney just old school mates catching up while Jojo is just stood there.”
A third echoed these sentiments, stating: “Obsessed with Trisha completely ignoring Jojo to ask Chesney about the school that she also went to.”
This year’s glittering cast also boasts names like Chris Hughes, Michael Fabricant, Jack P Shepherd and Ella Rae Wise.
