Predator: Killer of Killer’s trailer has been posted ahead of the film’s 6 June release date and fans of the sci-fi franchise are seriously impressed thanks to one major plot point
A terrifying new Predator film is being released.
Predator: Killer of Killers is the sixth film and eighth instalment in the franchise overall. The film is expected to release on 6 June on Hulu and Disney+.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the film is set to star Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Rick Gonzalez and Michael Biehn as voices for the animated characters.
The plot will follow “three of the fiercest warriors in human history” – a Viking raider with her son on a journey for revenge, a ninja who turns against his Samurai brother and a pilot in World War II who investigates a threat from another world.
Hulu uploaded the trailer for Predator: Killer of Killers to their YouTube channel and excited viewers rushed to the comments to share their reactions.
One dedicated fan wrote: “Can’t believe they actually made a show movie centered around Predators hunting warriors/soldiers from different time periods. This is like most Predator fans have wanted for a long time.”
Another said: “Viking, Samurai, and WWII. Literally what I wanted all gift wrapped into one. Already cinema.”
Someone else joked: “Screenwriter: “I have at least three ideas for a new Predator movie. Which one should we go with?” Chad Producer: “All of them.”
Others gushed over the idea of a Predator movie taking place in different eras while one comment praised the filmmakers for “treating the franchise as an anthology”.
“This is the start of something really significant,” chimed in another viewer while a second added: “Finally. People finally get the potential of the Predator narrative.”
