Amy took to her Instagram Stories this morning, posting a touching photo of her mum Julie with two of her grandkids, revealing to her fans: “We had very worrying news last Friday. My mum had a heart attack Friday evening, I’ve been having loads of messages from close friends (sorry I haven’t got back to some of you).”

The TV star then praised her mum’s warrior spirit, revealing that Julie is set to get a stent fitted this week and has been nothing short of incredibly strong in the face of adversity.

She dished out to her whopping 1.1 million followers: “Mum is doing ok, she is going to hopefully be having a stent put in this week! She is so bloody strong but she needs rest.

“I’ve been all over the place this week but mum is in the best heart hospital where she is being looked after so well. Love you mum @mrsjuliechilds. Fingers crossed you’ll be back home soon to pop the bubbly for your 60th. Love you more than anything mum xxx.”

Amy’s had a difficult time lately with her family facing a string of health scares, reports the Mirror. The telly fave and mum-of-four took to social media back in August to keep her followers in the loop about her eldest, Polly.

The 34-year-old was all over the place as little Polly was carted off for a tonsillectomy. She posted some heartfelt snaps of her brave girl just before the op.

One pic showed Polly cracking a smile in her cute mint green pyjamas on the hospital bed, with Amy captioning it: “My brave girl this morning. All ready to have her tonsils out! One very stressed mummy.”

Then there was the photo of Polly kitted out in a hospital gown, moments from surgery. Amy spilled to her fans: “Polly has just gone down, she was so brave. I on the other hand was a complete mess. Will update you all soon. Thank you for all your lovely messages.”

Earlier that month, Amy turned to her online mates for a bit of comfort, posting a sunny throwback of Polly from their Tenerife hol, confessing her worries: “Just love this picture of you Polly.

“My darling girl has got to have her tonsils out next week, nervous and worried is an understatement, I had mine out when I was 4. Tonsillitis every 4/6 weeks, she really has been through it bless her, so the best outcome is to get her tonsils out.”
