EXCLUSIVE: Zara McDermott has officially moved on from her ex Sam Thompson as she was seen sharing a kiss with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson during their romantic US getaway
Zara McDermott and Louis Tomlinson were spotted sharing a smooch on their Miami trip.
The loved up pair first sparked romance rumours in March, when they were seen enjoying dinner together at a hotel in Suffolk. Zara, 28, and Louis, 33, seemed to confirm they were dating and spending time with eachother across the pond with snaps posted on Instagram.
Zara, who recently split from Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, shared a snap of her brunch with Louis in the corner on the photo. Only his arm was visible in the pic, but it’s hard to miss the One Direction star’s tattooed forearm.
And now, the new couple were seen sharing an intimate moment outside of their Airbnb holiday rental in Malibu. Louis leaned in and kissed the Love Island alum before she headed to the airport.
The pair were also seen holding hands outside of their holiday accomodation. Louis was dressed in a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms, while Zara wore a blue tracksuit and Adidas sneakers.
And Zara’s ex Sam appeared to be in good spirits despite the split, which came at the end of year, after five years. He was seen smiling as he took part in an Easter world record attempt on Good Friday (April 18).
He was filming a segment for ITV’s This Morning in Bunny, Nottingham, which saw him try to set a world record for the most bunny ears worn in a minute. He was also seen chatting to fans and taking pictures with them.
One onlooker said: “He appeared to be in good spirits and took time out to chat to people and have pictures with fans. He seemed to be having a great time and was really bright and bubbly”
Last week, Zara and Louis hinted that they were together on a US trip as they both shared videos from a Stereophonics gig at The Wiltern theatre in Los Angeles. They posted very similar clips during the gig, apparently taken from the same spot, suggesting they’d gone together.
It’s clearly going well between Zara and Louis and it’s believed he’s already introduced her to his family. A source told the Sun: “Zara has already met all the family and they can tell that she has made Louis giddy.
The source added: “It’s the first time in a long time that they have seen him happy. They think Zara is super wholesome and health-conscious so they are happy he is with someone who shuns the party life.”
According to sources close to Zara, Louis has put ‘a smile back on her face’ following her split from Sam. Sam, according to MailOnline, has grown close to Netflix star Lucy Syed.
Zara and Sam were first linked back in March, when they were seen at The Suffolk in Aldeburgh. Snaps in The Sun, taken in secret by a fellow diner at the hotel, showed them enjoying fish and chips and cocktails.
A source claimed: “Louis whisked Zara away for a break in Suffolk and he absolutely charmed her. It’s clear he thinks she’s drop-dead gorgeous too.
“Louis is a proper gentleman so this trip was something he planned and put on for Zara. He was really thoughtful and wanted to make it special. They share the same values and are both incredibly close with their families.”
