Mickey Rourke admitted he was visited by undercover agents over comments he made on Donald Trump.

Hollywood icon Mickey, 72, has been in the headlines after he was removed from the Celebrity Big Brother over inappropriate behaviour towards his fellow housemates. Some of the behaviour and comments were deemed unfit for broadcast, with many slamming ITV for not removing him from the house sooner.

But while he was in the house, Mickey recounted a story that left his co-stars and the viewing public stunned. He revealed in the house that he was visited by the US Secret Service in regard to remarks that he made about current US President Trump.

During his stint in the house, many of Mickey’s co-stars asked him what he made of the politician, and The Wrestler star did not hold back. Having been a vocal critic of the US President, Mickey explained how he landed himself in trouble with the now-President over an alleged incident which took place in the US.

When asked what did he think about Trump, Mickey responded: “I got myself in some hot water back in the United States making some comments about a particular person I’m not gonna mention. But it was no laughing matter when the secret service came and talked to me.”

Fans and co-stars were left bemused by Mickey’s admission as many had assumed he would have been a fervent Trump supporter. However, this is not the first time that Mickey has addressed his run-in with the controversial leader.

Though he may not have divulged much information regarding the disagreement on Celebrity Big Brother, the 9 1/2 Weeks actor opened up on the topic of Trump during a frosty exchange on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored show. Airing back in July of 2022, the pair appeared to be unhappy with one another, with the interview more and more strange as it progressed.

Mickey had been brought on to speak about an image he had shared to social media that had caught Piers’ eye. The photo depicted the Statue of Liberty in tears as she stood in front of New York City.

As the pair continued to press each other for harder answers, Mickey then claimed that he had been visited by the then-former President’s secret service with regard to his hatred for the politician. “They call it the United States of America but it’s now the Divided States of America and there’s one big reason for that but I’m not going to go into it because I don’t need another visit from the Secret Service,” Mickey revealed.

Piers’ ears pricked up as he demanded to know more about the bizarre encounter: “When did you have on before?” Mickey responded: “Oh, about six months ago.”

When Piers asked for a reason why the officers had paid a visit to Mickey’s home, the actor replied – after a long pause: “Take a wild guess.” The former Britain’s Got Talent judge hit back: “Was it because of something you said about President Trump?” – to which Mickey nodded and added it was “just the truth”.

Piers would go on to pry for more information, but a stoic Mickey would never go on to explain in detail the comments that landed him in hot water. He simply responded to Piers’ claims: “Read my mind.”
