Actress Elizabeth Hurley has been involved with many high profile celebrities and has suffered a number of heartbreaks after the deaths of two of her ex-partners
Liz Hurley has had a number of high profile relationships.
Early on in her career, the gorgeous Elizabeth met Hugh Grant while working on Remando Al Viento in 1987. They reportedly dating for around 13 years before they went their separate ways in 2000.
Despite their breakup, Liz and Hugh have remained friends to this day and she previously spoke very highly of him during an appearance on What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in 2015.
She told the host: “He remains my best friend to this day, but he really used to annoy me. I love him but he’s very annoying.”
After dating the Bridget Jones actor, Liz moved on with producer Steve Bing, known for his work on Kangaroo Jack, The Polar Express and Shine a Light. She had her son Damian with Steve back in 2002.
Sadly he committed suicide in 2020 and Hurley was clearly rocked by the devastating news of her ex’s passing. She paid tribute to the father of her child on Instagram after the news was made public.
“I am saddened beyond belief that my ex Steve is no longer with us. It is a terrible end. Our time together was very happy and I’m posting these pictures because although we went through some tough times, it’s the good, wonderful memories of a sweet, kind man that matter.”
Damian also thanked those who “reached out following the devastating news.” The Los Angeles Times and TMZ reported that Steve had fallen to his death from a high-rise building and was pronounced dead at the scene.
After splitting from Bing, Liz briefly dated former NBA star Steve Nash and at the time, Nash’s representative told Sports Illustrated: “They just vibed. The relationship is authentic.”
In late 2002, Liz and her only husband Arun Nayar began dating. They eventually married in 2007 and although he is not Damian’s biological dad, Liz previously praised him as a father figure for her son.
News of their split reached the internet in 2010 when Liz took to X/Twitter to write: “For the record, my husband Aran and I separated a few months ago. Our close family and friends were aware of this,” and their divorce was finalised in 2011.
Three months after this, Hurley was engaged to Australian cricket player Shane Warne. In his autobiography, Shane described their relationship as the “happiest years of his life”.
The pair decided to call off their engagement back in 2013 but the pair remained friendly. However, Liz’s world came crashing down when news of Shane’s sudden death rocked the world.
The sportsman died of a heart attack at the age of 52 while on holiday in Thailand back in 2022. She spoke to The Telegraph and said: “It was appalling losing Shane, it was a terrible thing. It’s a sadness, you know, that stays with you a long time.”
Hurley’s latest flame appears to be singer Billy Ray Cyrus after the pair “confirmed” their relationship by sharing a sweet snap together. For the Instagram post, Liz wore a pair of blue jeans, a blue flannel shirt and a straw cowboy hat.
Billy stood next to her wearing a pair of striped trousers and a denim shirt as he leaned in to kiss her cheek. The Achy Breaky Heart singer added a pair of green bunny ears and held a large stick in his hand as they leaned against a wooden fence.
