Coronation Street’s Charlotte Jordan has turned to selling old clothes after she quit the ITV soap earlier this year, and has now shared a confession with her followers
After leaving Coronation Street, actress Charlotte Jordan has taken to selling her pre-loved clothing for as little as £10.
In January, the 29-year-old revealed that her four-year stint as Daisy Midgeley on the popular ITV soap was coming to an end.
Now, Charlotte has listed 15 items from her wardrobe on the popular platform Vinted, with prices starting from just £10. The actress shared a photo of herself modelling some of the clothing on Instagram, writing: “Happy rehoming! Good for the planet, good for the soul.My vinted wardrobe is live!”.
Among the items listed are a Marks and Spencer trench coat for £40, a pair of Converse shoes for £20, and a sparkly bag for £10, as well as several tops from Zara. Most of the items have already been quickly snapped up by online shoppers, but it remains to be seen if Charlotte will list more items in the future.
Charlotte recently spoke about her emotional departure from Coronation Street, revealing that she and several of her co-stars were left in tears on her final day of filming. She confessed: “I’m not a big crier. But let me tell you, I cried on and off for about four hours straight.
“My last scene was with the beautiful Rob Mallard, and we were meant to cry in the scene – but we were both dry as a bone.”, reports the Mirror. As soon as they yelled our final cut, we both burst into tears. Typical.”
She also shared how her Corrie mates went the extra mile to “make it so special” for her. She continued: “The Corrie gang made it so special for me. The canteen made me my favourite lunch – which made me cry. The art department drew me a beautiful card – which made me cry. I would look over to Channique [Sterling-Brown] or Julia [Goulding] or Sal [Sally Ann Matthews] during our last lunch break and see them crying – which made me cry. I think I was medically dehydrated by the end of the day.”
Daisy’s departure from Weatherfield will be broadcast next week. Speaking to Mirror about what lies ahead, she expressed: “I’m feeling really grateful for my years on the show and the people I’ve gotten to work with.
“Kate [Brooks] has been so supportive about me wanting to go back out into the audition circuit and very generous with Daisy’s exit story, as she really wanted to do the character justice.”
