Celebrity Big Brother finalist and star JoJo Siwa took a moment to gush about her friendship with Chris Hughes during the final episode of the Channel 4 reality show
JoJo Siwa opened up about her special connection with Celebrity Big Brother mate Chris Hughes during the final.
The 21-year-old Dance Moms star and the 32-year-old Love Island celebrity have struck an incredible friendship during their stint in the house. While their relationship was the topic of plenty of scrutiny, the pair maintain they have grown close during their time in the house. In tonight’s finale, JoJo poured her heart out at the dinner table, telling her housemates Chris is now ‘like family’ and dubbing him ‘the best thing’ about her Big Brother adventure.
The American reality star confessed her feelings for Chris, telling him that “the love I’ve gained for you is unreal.” Eager fans immediately took to social media to swoon over the pair.
“JoJo and Chris are literally soulmates and I don’t care what anyone says. They are so cute,” one fan tweeted. “Chrissss and JoJo have my whole heart,” another shared, reports the Mirror.
As the final drew near, there was plenty of speculation online about Chris and JoJo’s blossoming friendship after they became close on the show. But earlier this week, some viewers took Chris to task after he kissed JoJo on the head in the hot tub live on camera. “I don’t care what anyone says anymore! ! ! ! Chris and JoJo’s relationship and how they act with one another is so inappropriate. Imagine JoJo’s girlfriend watching this. She’s not going to be okay with this behaviour,” a viewer blasted on X.
Elsewhere, reports say that Chris Hughes quit his job at ITV Racing just as he was about to enter into the Celebrity Big Brother house. The Love Island alum used to present at big meets like Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot.
A source said: “Chris had a dream job on ITV Racing, but things turned sour after his ITV wouldn’t up his pay. He wasn’t paid what he thought he was owed. He had a great rapport with Oli in the Social Stable, and ITV Racing viewers have been left wondering where he went.”
Meanwhile, sparks are flying between JoJo and her Aussie partner Kath Ebbs. The couple went Instagram-official this January and haven’t shied away from flaunting their affection.
Before entering CBB, JoJo couldn’t stop singing praises for her partner, pondering a future with Kath. Chatting about possibly hopping across the pond, JoJo spilled: “There’s a lot at stake obviously, but first of all let me say, I have the most beautiful [and] amazing partner.”
She added: “They are an incredible human being, who I don’t know how I’ve snagged them at all, I don’t know.”
JoJo laid bare the deep respect and encouragement she and Kath share, insisting that sacrificing their established lives isn’t part of their love story.
On an episode of Paul C Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, the Dance Moms star opened up about her personal life goals, expressing a heartfelt wish to enter motherhood.
“My dream is to have babies, I just want to be a mum,” she divulged. “I’ve had a very maternal instinct, no joke, for a very long time.”
