Jeremy Clarkson has a new farmhand who will appear on the fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm, replacing Kaleb Cooper during his temporary absence from the Prime Video hit
Jeremy Clarkson’s new farmhand has been unveiled.
Clarkson’s Farm fans love watching young farmer Kaleb Cooper help run Jeremy’s Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds. The 26-year-old is famed for appearing on Jezza’s Prime Video hit, but he’s been temporarily replaced on the fourth series of the show as he’s taking some time away.
Fans have now been introduced to Jeremy Clarkson’s glamorous new farmhand, and it’s 24-year-old nurse and farmer Harriet Cowan. A trailer for the fourth series revealed the mystery blonde who had been hired to take over the farm in Kaleb’s absence.
The trailer showed Harriet get stuck into work on the farm, helping to load feed for the animals, put in fences and show off her welding skills. Jezza was clearly impressed by her skills, turning to the camera at one point and admitting: “She’s brilliant!”
Harriet had confessed in the trailer that she hadn’t watched Clarkson’s Farm before. It was clear she had a sense of humour as she was seen asking Jeremy if she could trim his eyebrows.
Later, Kaleb returned to the farm and seemed to be getting on well with Harriet, his new co-star. Harriet is a highly experienced farmer, having grown up helping her father Eddy Cowan on his farm.
She revealed that her mother wanted her to became a nurse but her father wanted her to carry on farming, so she decided to do both. She got her nursing degree from the University of Derby.
She boasts 35,000 TikTok followers and shares glimpses into her life on her Instagram, including snaps with boyfriend James, also a farmer. Her Instagram bio urges followers to “come and watch the craziness”.
Harriet has a brand deal with Country Moos, a sock company selling cow-print designs. She is also a spokesperson for Belper’s Young Farmers group.
Jeremy insisted he was “thrilled” with Kaleb’s success as he headed out on tour but said the farmer had left him “in the lurch” regarding the state of the farm. He said: “I want to make it plain that I am absolutely thrilled to bits for Kaleb, but he has left me just a little bit in the lurch”.
The series will follow Kaleb, who shares two children with fiancée Taya, during his nationwide tour before returning as farm manager. The series will also show Clarkson open his pub, The Farmer’s Dog.
The new series will return to Prime Video on May 23, with two additional episodes released a week later on May 30, followed by the last two on June 6.
