TV personality Ulrika Jonsson has never been shy when it comes to talking about her bedroom antics and now it seems at the age of 57 she’s found a new lease of life
TV personality Ulrika Jonsson has got her mojo back in the boudoir following her “barren marriage”.
The Celebs Go Dating star, 57, claims to have re-discovered her “irrepressible sex drive” in her midlife after only having sex two times in the eight years of her marriage.
She has also addressed her thoughts on the Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s recent comments regarding her own bedroom antics.
On her Goop podcast, Gwyneth, 52, confessed to listeners that when her “sexuality wanes she feels a grief”. But ole Ulrika couldn’t disagree more after finding a new lust for life in her 50s.
In The Sun, Ulrika shared: “Little surprise then that I emerged from that long, barren relationship with my spark plugs replaced and firing on all cylinders — I was a thirsty girl. My sex drive was irrepressible.
“My other defence is that, as well as living for nearly eight years with only two sexual encounters, I also never did any of it when I was in my twenties either.
“At 52, Gwyneth is six years my junior and lagging a tad behind, but I certainly know where she’s coming from. Or not coming from.”
Responding to Gwyneth’s podcast confession, Ulrika was in a polar opposite corner to Gwyneth who has been struggling with her sex drive.
Gwyneth explained: “My sexuality has changed, and it makes me feel like I don’t know myself anymore. When my sexuality wanes or libido or whatever hormonally, I feel, like, a grief.
“My sexuality was such a huge and important part of who I was. I do notice there’s a bit of, like, anhedonia lately.
“There’s something about this time hormonally where it’s like the pleasure all around is just dulled.”
The Hollywood screen star launched her lifestyle brand Goop 2008 and has since provided tips with fans about how they can improve their libido.
Over the years, Gwyneth has had her hair share of famous flings including Hollywood stars Ben Affleck, Brad Pitt and her Coldplay singer ex-husband Chris Martin.
Whereas, Ulrika has been been single since her divorce from her third husband Brian Monet after they went separate ways in 2019.
