BAFTA TV Awards hottest red carpet looks – backless gowns, sheer panels and lace

The BAFTA TV Awards shine a light on the stars of the small screen every year – and they know how to dazzle.

This year’s awards, which took place on Sunday (May 11), saw Alan Cumming host the show and 29 awards handed out. BBC series Mr Loverman was the only show to nab two awards, despite Netflix smash Baby Reindeer being the most nominated.

But for many, it’s an excuse to strut their stuff down the red carpet, even if they’re not nominated for any awards.

This year seemed to bring a trend of backless gowns and sheer illusion panels, perhaps thanks to the warmer weather the UK has been having in recent weeks.

So as the red carpet gets rolled back up for another year, we take a look at the real show-stoppers of the BAFTA TV Awards red carpet.
