The trial of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs continued in lower Manhattan on Wednesday (May 14) with a number of shocking text allegations being read out in court
The courtroom drama surrounding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs intensified on the third day of his trial, Wednesday (May 14), with bombshell text messages being laid bare before the court.
The rapper stands accused in the lower Manhattan courthouse, with criminal charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Arrested in September at age 55, the musician has remained behind bars, consistently refuting all claims against him, as bail applications have been turned down one after the other.
His former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, provided testimony on the second day, returning to give evidence again on day three. The jury was privy to several text exchanges between the two, revealing some startling allegations.

Combs is claimed to have ‘threatened to release Freak Off videos’.
Ventura, while giving her account, asserted that Combs had more than once threatened to leak compromising videos which she believed would shatter her reputation and paint her as promiscuous, reports the Mirror.
Expressing her constant apprehension about the possibility of an angry Combs distributing the footage, Ventura shared how such an act could devastate her career, insisting she shouldn’t have featured in the clips.
The court viewed a text from Ventura to Combs begging for the deletion of any such material from his phone.
She texted: “Please delete any video out of your iphone you have. Too many people have access to your stuff.”
In response, the jury learnt that Combs assured: “I did yesterday an no icloud. All Good. Ambien kicking in. Goodnight.”
Ventura has accused Combs of treating her like Ike Turner, despite a video she thought was deleted still surfacing.
In court, Ventura shared a text exchange with Combs where she confronted him, saying: “Nothing good comes out of FOs any more. You treat me like you’re Ike Turner.”
The texts were revealed as Ventura gave testimony about the darker aspects of her relationship with Combs.
During her testimony, Ventura brought up names like French Montana and Drake, recounting an incident from 2013 when she was preparing to go to Drake’s music festival in Canada.
Ventura alleges that during a confrontation, Combs threw her into a bed frame, causing a ‘pretty significant gash’ above her left eye, which later required a plastic surgeon’s attention.
She claims to have sent Combs a photo of her injury with the message: “So you can remember.”
Combs reportedly replied to Ventura’s image of her injury with: “You don’t know when to stop. You pushed it too far. And continued to push. Sad.”
Ventura also mentioned a photo taken with French Montana at the Canadian festival.
Post-breakup, Combs allegedly sent Ventura threatening texts in 2019, stating: “If I as you, I would get me my money.”
It has been reported that he demanded payback from his former partner following her marriage to Alex Fine. Despite rumours that Combs was the one who got Ventura hitched up with personal trainer Fine to begin with.
The message exchange escalated quickly with Diddy declaring in all caps: “YOU WILL NOT BE THREATENING ME,” before he added that Ventura had “too many iPads full of skeletons”.
Ventura hit back with: “Do you want me to tell the truth? It’s way deeper than iPads.”
