Eurovision Rylan Clark’s new natural look makes fans beg for ‘permanent’ change

Rylan Clark is known for his signature jet black hair and flawless makeup, but the former X Factor star stunned fans when he ditched the dye and make-up to reveal his natural look

Rylan Clark has revealed a bold new natural makeover.

The TV star left his fans speechless by returning to his natural hair colour and ditching his usual makeup look.

Known for his signature dark mane and beard, not to mention his blindingly white teeth and feature-enhancing makeup, Rylan decided to go au naturel in a selfie from 2024. He looked unrecognisable with ginger locks cut into a trendy fringe.

Rylan wrote: “Stripped colour from my hair to give it a reset. For anyone wondering this is what I look like with no colour in and no makeuppppp.”

The telly fave was showered with praise as one fan exclaimed: “Oh wow. You look fabulous/younger with lighter hair. Really makes your eye colour pop as well. Let the beard colour grow out for the summer too.”

Another chimed in: “Crikey you look so different! You really suit this,” reports the Mirror. A third admirer gushed: “Wow, you look great, and so much younger, definitely keep it!”.

Rylan’s celeb mates were quick to shower him with compliments, as Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford exclaimed: “I LOVE this colour! Keep it.” TV star Katie Piper kept it sweet with: “Youthful,” and a love heart eye emoji before Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison remarked: “Still gorgeous.”

Lizzie Cundy chimed in: “Keep it ginge! Love you,” and Jedward couldn’t resist a tease: “It’s giving Troy Bolton from high school musical ya wild cat.”

The BBC Radio 2 presenter first made waves with his long, blonde locks on The X-Factor and has since let slip that he’s actually a ginger. Last year, he flaunted a snap of himself rocking a lighter beard, captioning it: “I MIGHT try natural for a bit.”

He uploaded a selfie donning a green hoodie and cap, showcasing his paler beard: “Beard shaved… Run out of colour… Ginger for a day. Just call me ginger spice.”

He’s previously opened up about dying his hair since he was 14, telling The Sun: “I always struggled with how I looked growing up.

“At school I was the little fat ginger kid and used to get picked on. I was quite camp, so the gay thing played its part. I used to start dying my hair at 14.”
