Speaking at the WhichBingo Awards this week, Helen revealed: “My passion is acting and I’ve got two really good projects next year which I’m excited about and I just want to focus to getting back into acting.

“I really want to do theatre and I’d love to do some dramas. There’s loads of things I’d like to do but I feel like I want to start fresh again and go into theatre and go from there really.”

The Corrie stunner clarified: “I get asked all the time if I’m going back to Coronation Street and I would love to go back.”

She also debunked recent rumours by asserting: “I read a story the other day which said ‘Helen reached out to Corrie bosses and they rejected her’ and that’s so not true at all.”

Reflecting on her character, she mentioned: “As an actress, I feel like me and Rosie grew up together and I just generally played myself but I would never do the things that she did.”

Remembering her time on set, she recalled: “I remember when they wrote Rosie really mean and bitchy and I’m a proper softy and I would never be mean to anyone so that was a bit weird when the character was like that.”

Helen first graced our screens as Sally and Kevin Webster’s daughter Rosie in 2000, taking over from Emma Collinge who had portrayed the iconic character from 1990 to 1999.

Furthermore, Rosie’s dreams of becoming a model have been a significant plot point for her character.
