Peppa Pig’s mother has given birth to her third child, with the news being announce via a town crier in the early hours.
Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold announced the news this morning and added that both Mummy Pig and Baby Pig are doing well. Daddy Pig even sent photos to the TV studio, where Baby Pig could be seen with a bow already around their ears. The gender was also announced as a girl. As for the name, Peppa’s new sister is named Evie.
Richard also added that the she was named after Mummy Pig’s Aunt Evie, and was born for 5.45am this morning. Adding to this, the news was revealed through a town crier, and a plaque was revealed with Evie’s birthing information on.
It was also announced that next week, after a brief paternity leave, Daddy Pig will appear on TV for an update on family life. Fans left delighted comments on social media, to welcome in the latest addition.
A user on X wrote: “Aw, she’s proper lovely! Welcome to the world, little Evie – hope she’s got her mum’s sense of humour and her dad’s cheek!” Another added: “Aw love it. Welcome, Baby Pig.”
A third cheeky user penned: “Now is the time for who will have custody.”
Mummy Pig reportedly welcomed Evie at the Lindo Wing in London, the same place Kate Middleton gave birth to her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
