JoJo Siwa has addressed her “relationship” with Chris Hughes.
The former Dance Moms star has also revealed that he will be joining her on her upcoming US summer tour. The pair, who met on Celebrity Big Brother UK, sparked romance rumours among fans and were recently spotted sharing a kiss in Mexico.
JoJo, 22, confessed that she can’t bear to be apart from Chris, 32, for too long and has invited him to join her on her month-long music and dance tour across the States.
The American entertainer gushed about her experience on Celebrity Big Brother, calling it the “best thing I have ever done”. Speaking to NBC TV, Siwa laughed about being caught on camera smooching Hughes at the Epic Universe Studios Celestial Carpet Opening Celebration event in Orlando, saying “it was funny to see that on camera.”
When asked if Chris would be joining her on tour, she replied: “I mean he will be my guest. I am sure he will pop in and out and come and say hey and come. We cannot be apart that long.”
Siwa also revealed that her people had initially advised her against appearing on ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother UK, but she ignored their advice and headed to the UK for the prime-time reality TV show in the spring, reports the Mirror.
“It’s funny because going into the experience, nobody on my team wanted me to do it and everyone tried to discourage me from doing it. But for some reason, I was really set on doing it,” she said.
“Right before I went in, the last thing I told my mom is, I said: ‘Mom, I think this is going to be the best thing I’ve ever done in my life.’ And I wasn’t speaking about my career, I was speaking about my life and I think I was accurate on that.”
Despite recent rumours, Hughes, 32, and Siwa have consistently downplayed any notion of a romantic relationship, insisting their bond “is platonic”.
